I've been attempting to sort through hundreds of delapidated barn photos and find the best ones for display in my basement. It's hard because sometimes the worst photos actually provide the best bones for image manipulation. I've found and re-imaged three and I thought I'd share them with you. My goal is to group five, using the same imaging technique. Let me know what you think of these.

I first learned to weave on one of those kid's potholder square loom thing-a-majingies when I was 9 or so. When I was 12, I graduated to crocheting. I tried knitting but didn't enjoy it so I concentrated all my efforts on learning every kind of stitch you could do with crochet. I had a blast...and was giving things away all the time. It was already a sloppy mess and it was promising to get much worse.

Over the holidays we decided to do a bit of local (relatively speaking) sightseeing, and one of those trips was to the Newport Aquarium (across the river from Cincinnati, Ohio). I had already seen the aquarium when I attended a cousin's wedding a few years back, but my hubby and kids hadn't attended so this was our grand opportunity to see it as a family.

I woke up this morning at 8:30 when I heard the front door slam. Blind (I didn't put in my contacts) I rushed downstairs to see who had left. Rear lights from my oldest daughter's car told me who it was. She'd spent the night elsewhere, but had evidently needed something before going to her anime convention today. Ah well.
